Pipa Club
To enter, one has to ring the doorbell and walk up to the first floor. It's not very sleazy, but it's open till late. Of course, the later you'll arrive, the more you feel at home. The clientele is a mixture of tourists and catalans, the drinks are relatively expensive, and there used to be a waitress with long legs, leather boots, a short skirt and a skimpy shirt, but I haven't seen her the last few times I was there.
But it's open untill quite late, or did I mention that already?
The Sheriff
If you ever enter Guyana, and I suppose you never will, this sleazy bar I recommend to visit.
The Sheriff is located on Sheriff street in Georgetown. It is not the safest place in Georgetown, but if you have a big mouth and some common sense, you'll have an ok time. A couple of years ago, a research pointed out that approximately 90% of all males and females in Sherif street 'got hit by the big truck' (HIV-positive). Feuermelder
Slightly after 3:00 am i stood in front of the Feuermelder. Attached to the door is a sign stating geoffnet: Ma-Sa ab 15:00, Sontag ab 13:00. Is this a joke? Or is there a thruth to it. Midtown
Midtown is a blues/rock café in the centre of Deventer the Netherlands. It's open till around 6 o'clock in the morning.
It's a dark basement with a good apmosphere, the drinks are ok and cheap. Only the music is to loud so you must talk very hard to understand you're friends/girlfriends.
That's why only 1 star.
El Cangrejo
I have only been there a few times. It's open until late, and it depends on the night what's going on. It's a bit like San Francisco, Amsterdam, but way less sleazy. However, I once did see a travestite dance show there, and the clientele is definitely tourist free.
IMO
In my opinion IMO is definitely the sleaziest in the northwestern part of italy. On the outside it appears to
be a cheap wine retailer on a dark, non-descriptive square
in a degraded part of town, locked inside a grid of popular housing, a smelly river, a porno-theater.
Au contraire, IMO is open til late nights (sometimes) and the atmosphere is genuine. The drinks are extraordinarily cheap, service is "as is", meaning that ima (the owner's, imo, wife) will stare at you and mechanichally reach for
whatever you were drinking last. No point in asking as she appareantly will not understand and imo himself is too busy playing a game of "scopone".
Last time I checked a glass of wine was still under 20 euro cents and the collection of rare sub-brand liquors was

Opens everyday around midnight and already closes again at about three hours later. In the meanwhile, this is the place to meet everything that's low-life in Amsterdam. From worn-out hookers till massively agressive drugdealers, from drewling alcoholist till students so full of them selfs they 're puking on their own shoes (and, if you're lucky, on yours. Lucky? Bukowski's Liver Flush
Here’s a recipe for Bukowski’s Liver Flush, a non-alcoholic cocktail named for famous booze-hound Charles Bukowski. Juice a half-inch of ginger, followed by 2 raw medium-size scrubbed beets and half a peeled lemon. Next, juice 2 large peeled pink grapefruits and stir in 2 shakes of cayenne pepper. Add 20 drops of milk thistle tincture and pour into a tall glass.
